Police have released CCTV footage of a man they would like to speak with following a series of shoplifting incidents where items were stashed in a baby buggy.

A large amount of items, including board games, soft toys and books, have been stolen from a shop in Broad Street in Oxford on multiple occasions, between Sunday, April 2 and Sunday, May 7, said police.

Investigating officer PC Jessica Brandish, based at St Aldates police station, said: “We are releasing a CCTV image of a man we would like to speak to as we believe he may have information regarding these incidents.

“We believe that on taking the items from the shop, the offender meets someone outside who empties these into a child’s buggy and the offender re-enters the shop to take more."
