JACQUELINE RUSSELL, 48, of Payne Place, Long Hanborough, pleaded guilty to drink driving and failing to comply with a roadside test. A blood test showed she had 219mlgs of alcohol in 100ml of blood; almost three times the legal limit of 80mlgs. Russell had been arrested after driving a Mercedes A class on  Lower Road, Eynsham, last June. She initially denied the offence but pleaded guilty at a later hearing. She received a community order with up to 25 rehabilitation activity requirement days and banned from the roads for 23 months. She must pay £514 in costs and surcharge.

JOHN GUIVER, 59, of Kennet Close, Grove, admitted drink driving a Ford Fiesta on Newlands Drive, Grove, last September. Blood tests showed he had 116mlgs of alcohol, whereas the legal limit is 80. He was fined £550, banned from driving for 15 months and must pay £320 in costs and surcharge.

SCOTT WHITAKER, 35, of Lake Street, Oxford, admitted drug driving a Land Rover Discovery on Abingdon Road. He was over the limit for cannabis. He was fined £300, banned from driving for a year and pay a £120 victim surcharge.

ALEXANDER CLARKE, 35, care of Well Lane, Witney, pleaded guilty to driving a Nissan Terrano on Speedwell Street, Oxford, while over the drug drive limit for cocaine and benzoylecgonine. He was fined £100, banned from driving for 18 months and must pay a £40 victim surcharge.

SEBASTIAN URBANOWICZ, 30, of Rydings Lane, Southport, pleaded guilty to drink driving an Audi A4 on the M40 near Bicester. Tests showed he was more than three times the limit, blowing 133mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35. He was handed six weeks’ imprisonment suspended for two years, with the court record citing his high alcohol reading, the ‘distance driven’ and his vehicle was ‘swerving’. He must do 100 hours of unpaid work and was banned from driving for 32 months. He must pay a £154 victim surcharge and £85 in costs.

TEDDY HARRISON, 37, of Bayswater Road, Oxford, admitted drink driving a Ford Transit on the Oxford Road, Kidlington, in March. He was more than three times the legal limit, blowing 131mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath. He also pleaded guilty to failing to provide a roadside breath test. He was jailed for 10 weeks, banned from driving for four years and ordered to pay £85 in costs.

KIERAN DAVIS, 25, of Hansons Bridge Road, Birmingham, admitted possession of knuckle dusters and cannabis in Chilton last September. The court record noted that he had been to the police ‘five times to be cautioned’ for the offence and it was a ‘police error that [caution] was not given’. The knuckle dusters were not his and he was of previous good character. As a result, he received an absolute discharge.

LUKE EDWARDS, 23, of Grove Street, Wantage, pleaded guilty to arson. He set a fire that damaged a bicycle and decking in Didcot last August. He was ordered to pay £25 in compensation, must do up to 10 rehabilitation activity requirement days with the probation service and 80 hours of unpaid work. A restraining order bans him from living at a property in Bourne Street, Didcot, or visiting without the consent of a woman named on the order. He must pay £199 in costs and surcharge.
