A Range Rover Discovery that was stolen from Sheffield has been recovered nearly 150 miles away in Oxfordshire.
The rose gold 4x4 vehicle had been left abandoned in Wheatley and was reported to Thames Valley Police (TVP) by a member of the public.
PC Percival from Abingdon ICR Team 4 attended the call and established the vehicle had been stolen from the city in South Yorkshire.

The vehicle has now been successfully recovered.
A spokesman from TVP South Oxon and Vale of White Horse said: “PC Percival from Abingdon ICR Team 4 attended an abandoned vehicle in Wheatley reported by a member of the public, he established it was stolen from Sheffield and it has successfully been recovered.”
