A man has been left with life threatening injuries and is in a critical condition after a serious road traffic collision.
A man has been left fighting for his life in the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford after he collided with a grey Vauxhall Zafira at 5.50pm yesterday, May 15.
The incident took place on the A4074 between Berinsfield and Nuneham Courtenay and the man in hospital was riding a grey Ducati motorcycle.
The driver of the Vauxhall was not injured.
Thames Valley Police are now appealing for witnesses to the crash.
Investigating Officer PC Harry Welch, from Cowley police station, said he was “particularly appealing to the driver of a Range Rover who was travelling towards Oxford on the A4074 behind the car involved in the collision”.
Mr Welch believes the driver of the Range Rover has “vital information that can assist this investigation”.
He added: “This collision occurred on a busy stretch of the A4074 during the evening rush hour and I am appealing to anybody who witnessed this to get in contact with Thames Valley Police.
“I would also ask anybody else who was driving in the area and has dash-cam in their vehicles to please check this and get in touch if it has captured the collision or the moments leading up to it.”
