A schoolgirl from Oxfordshire was one of just 400 young people invited to view the King’s Coronation from a church next to Westminster Abbey.
Lizzie Pannett, a Year 10 pupil at Wallingford School, is part of the Girlguiding group ‘Amplify’ who meet virtually once a month.
As a member of this group, Lizzie received a special ticket to the viewing at St Margaret’s Church.

She spent the night before the Coronation at the Girlguiding headquarters in the capital.
Lizzie was then treated to breakfast at Lambeth Palace before being joined by the Archbishop of Canterbury for lunch at his official residence after the ceremony.
The 15-year-old said: “At first, I was feeling a bit nervous as I didn’t know many of the other Girl Guides there but I really enjoyed it.
“The day was great and the Coronation was entertaining.”
