Priscilla Goldby has written a letter detailing her experience of traffic congestion in St Clements.
Referring to the severe traffic delays in St Clements, Roger Jenking states that ‘the recent changes have been marginal’ and ‘these are more pronounced in the evening when more people are leaving the city’.
But what about in the other direction?
Bus-using Headington residents are being cut off from our city centre (and railway station) by the congestion stretching back up Headington Hill from mid-afternoon onwards.
READ AGAIN: Closed village pubs could be run by community groups
In my experience, this never occurred before the installation of the Divinity Road area LTN.
It of course also affects those on public transport from further afield (e.g. coaches from London).
As an unfortunate side effect of the East Oxford traffic-calming measures, it deserves more attention.
