Several police cars were seen on St Aldates in Oxford city centre last night, Wednesday, May 10.
The Oxford Mail contacted Thames Valley Police for further details of the incident.
A 16-year-old from Oxfordshire was arrested on suspicion of assault and he remains in police custody Thursday morning, May 11.

The arrest was in connection with the assault of a man at the Sainsbury’s Local on St Aldates.
The victim in his 40s suffered minor injuries which did not require hospital treatment.
An investigation is ongoing by Thames Valley Police.
