A Minster Lovell resident has said the village is living through a ‘depressing reality’ due to water supply issues in the area.
Residents of Minster Lovell, near Witney, suffered two water stoppages in March and last summer homes in the village were without water for three days.
Thames Water has been carrying road works in the area to fix the problem, but progress has stalled.

No workers have been seen at the Burford Road site for a month and a half.
The resident, who has asked to remain anonymous, said: “Two months after the Thames Water roadworks appeared on the Burford Road through Minster Lovell residents are no closer to an assured water supply.
“Water stoppages in Minster Lovell have become a depressing reality with Thames Water unable to cope with the increased demands from the Bovis housing development on the edge of the village and the sprawling expanse of new builds in Carterton.
“Residents suffered two water stoppages in March alone causing prolonged disruption and anxiety.
“Last summer houses were without water for three days.
“The fact that the current road works have been unworked on for six weeks only adds insult to injury as locals now have to contend with three-way traffic controls which are often ignored by impatient drivers and therefore risk traffic collisions.
“Furthermore, until they were contacted by concerned locals, Thames Water had no record of the roadworks.
“The incident number on signage referred to completed works in High Wycombe."
Villagers are concerned that the water supply will only worsen if the building of new homes is allowed to go ahead in the area.

The resident continued: “The local community is understandably horrified by the planning application for 140 additional houses on the edge of Minster Lovell and proposals for a total of 181.7 acres of greenfield site to be developed on between the village and the junction of the Burford Road and A40.
“Residents are questioning why these are even being considered given the inability to supply a basic amenity to the existing households.
“Everyone seems blinded by money.”
Thames Water has been contacted for comment in relation to the claims made to the Oxford Mail.
But the company did not address the ongoing water supply issues.
A spokeswoman said: "We are sorry to customers in Minster Lovell who have experienced low pressure or no water due to a leak.
"Due to the complexity of the leak, it has taken longer than we'd hoped to make the repair, however, we expect to fix the leak by the end of the week.
"Should customers experience issues with their water supply, we would encourage them to contact our dedicated customer service line on 0800 316 9800 for assistance.
"Finding and fixing leaks is a top priority, with over 1,300 repairs made each week – that’s one leak every 7.5 minutes."
