Oxford Mail Camera Club members have been taking photos of ‘the great outdoors’ for the latest theme.
Each week club members are given a theme and then post their pictures on the club’s Facebook page.
This week there were lots of stunning shots of local wildlife including birds, and some well-known landmarks and locations.

Not all the photos were taken in Oxfordshire but we have chosen a local scene as our camera club photo of the week.
Ian White has waited for a man to cross the footbridge on the Wharf Stream Way in Eynsham before achieving the perfect shot.

It couldn’t be more simple but it perfectly illustrates the theme.
Once photos are posted on the club’s Facebook page a selection are chosen to be featured in the Oxford Mail, and then one photo is chosen as the winner.
The next theme is ‘family’.
