Chiltern Railways has advised travellers that its services are likely to be extremely busy this weekend, as well-wishers travel to London to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III.
The train operator has an enhanced timetable in operation on Saturday (May 6) with a handful of additional services running to accommodate those travelling to the capital.
But Chiltern Railways is reminding customers that despite the extra trains, the closure of the Nuneham Viaduct means the Oxford to Marylebone line is currently the only train route between Oxford and the capital.

This means that services are likely to be extremely busy throughout the day.
Customers are being advised to check the timetable in advance and pre-book tickets where possible.
Chiltern Railways is planning to decorate its stations with bunting and handouts to celebrate the Coronation.
Some station gardens will see red, white and blue flowers painted ahead of the bank holiday weekend.
There will also be a live band at London Marylebone on Saturday.
