Several escooter riders and cyclists were warned by police during an operation in Oxford city centre yesterday (May 3).
Police were responding to concerns raised by residents with regard to the illegal use of escooters in Oxford.
14 escooter riders were warned and one escooter was seized from a rider who had already been issued with a warning.

Six cyclists were warned for jumping red lights and 10 cyclists were warned for cycling in a pedestrianised area.
Two further cyclists were warned for riding the wrong way down a one way street.
One drug driver was caught and two mopeds were stopped before riding through a no vehicualr access point.
The operation was carried out by A Shift RP Oxfordshire along with Oxford City Centre Neighbourhood Team.
The aim was to stop, engage and educate those causing disruption to other road users.
