Nearly 30 street parties have been planned across the city over the bank holiday weekend.
And the Shake Lab in the Westgate Shopping Centre has created new drinks based on quintessentially British biscuits for the occasion.
Manager Elizabeth Lucas said: “We have five different biscuit flavours on offer.
“It’s exciting as we’ve never done biscuit shakes before.
“We are doing it mainly for the Coronation, but it is something that is quite British in itself.
“Everyone loves a biscuit.”
The milkshakes are now available and will on the menu for one month.
To welcome the introduction of the milkshakes, The Shake Lab will be giving away 10 free shakes between 11am and noon.
Otherwise, the drinks will be priced at £6.95 each.

I tried the chocolate chip cookie milkshake.
Like all things coronation related, it was certainly extravagant and was not short of whipped cream on the top!
The shake was chocolate flavoured and was topped with a whole Maryland cookie.
Although not a typical English biscuit, Maryland cookies have certainly become a staple of an English childhood.
