Local elections today will allow voters in Bicester to decide who they want on their district and town councils for the next four years.
At present, Cherwell Council is made up of 25 conservative members, seven Lib Dem, six Labour, five Independent, three Labour and Co-operative party and two Green party members.
Cherwell is now the only Conservative-controlled district council in the county.

The district councillors whose Bicester seats are up for election are Richard mould, Bicester East, Jason Slaymaker, Bicester North and Caversfield, Nick Cotter, Bicester South and Ambrosden and Fraser Webster, Bicester West.
All 15 seats on Bicester Town Council are up for election too, with three seats from east ward, and four from north ward, south ward and west ward, respectively.
If voters choose to vote in person at a polling station, they will need to show an accepted form of photo ID before they receive their ballot papers.
This is the first set of local elections with this new requirement in place.
Accepted forms of ID include a UK, European Economic Area (EEA) or Commonwealth passport; a UK or EEA drivers’ licence; some concessionary travel passes, such as an older person’s bus pass, and the new free voter authority certificate.
Voters will be able to use expired ID if they are still recognisable from the photo and their name has not changed.
