The graphic vandalism of a Conservative election sign in South Oxfordshire has been condemned by both the Tories and Liberal Democrats.
The political sign on the outskirts of Benson was sprayed over with rude graffiti ahead of the local elections on Thursday, May 4.
The word 'don't' had been written in front of 'Vote Conservative' and various swear words and phallic images decorated the rest of the sign.

Jane Murphy, leader of the Conservative group in South Oxfordshire, said: "It’s really disappointing to see some people reducing political debate to this.
"The Conservatives in South Oxfordshire have been running a serious, respectful campaign."
A Liberal Democrats spokesman said: “The Liberal Democrats strongly condemn any form of vandalism or destruction of election materials.
"We firmly believe that such actions have no place in a democratic society".
