A man has been charged with assaulting an emergency worker after the police were called to a public order incident over the bank holiday weekend.
Officers attended the incident that took place in the town centre of Witney in the Market Square on Sunday, April 30.
Kevin Criere, aged 48, of Thorney Leys, Witney, was charged with a count each of assaulting an emergency worker and assault with intent to resist arrest.

Criere is due to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court later this month with a court date set for May 15.
