Police and an ambulance were seen on Botley Road on Thursday evening.
An eyewitness told the Oxford Mail he saw an officer and an ambulance near the junction with Earl Road in Oxford at around 7.30pm.
A force spokesman has since confirmed police were attending a "minor road traffic collision".

It comes as Botley Road is closed at the rail bridge where it is currently only open to cyclists and pedestrians.
Network Rail has shut the road to through traffic to allow for a multi-million-pound redevelopment of Oxford Station.

The arterial route into Oxford is not due to reopen until October and will close again for a similar period next year.
Marshals are directing traffic shortly before the rail bridge, close to the junction to Abbey Road and at the junction by St Frideswide’s Church.
