A motorcyclist was taken to hospital today after he was involved in a collision with a car on the A41 in Bicester.
The collision happened on the northbound carriageway, near the Esso garage, at 7.30am. The crash led to the temporary closure of the road and delays built up for drivers.
Police spokesman Vicky Brandon said the male motorcyclist was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, for treatment to cuts and suspected broken bones, though his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
Police confirmed an arrest was made at the scene, but were unable to give any more details.
Paramedics were also called to another collision on the A420, near Buckland, at 7.55am.
Police and paramedics were called and both drivers were treated for minor injuries at the scene.
