Police have charged a man in connection with a robbery and assault at a Tesco store in Oxford.
Thames Valley Police have charged a 36-year-old man with multiple offences in connection with a robbery at around 5pm on April 20 at the store on Cowley Road.
Police have charged Luke Grant, of Oxford Road, with one count each of robbery, threatening a person with an offensive weapon in a public place, assault by beating and racially aggravated public order offences.
He has been remanded in custody and will next appear at Oxford Crown Court on May 19.
Police are now urging a member of the public to come forward after a robbery at a Tesco store in Oxford.
It is believed that a man wearing a green jumper and green combat trousers helped deal with the incident.

There was an altercation between a man and a security guard before a bottle of whiskey was taken from the store.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Michael Lewis, based at Oxford police station, said: “I am aware that a male member of the public wearing a green jumper and green combat trousers assisted in helping the security staff deal with this incident.
“I would urge them to come forward and they can do so by calling 101 or making a report online quoting reference number 43230172220.”
