The parents of a university student who tragically took his own life in 2018 are calling for a change in the law to support other young people struggling with their mental health.
Mark and Jacquie Shanahan from Oxford lost their 22-year-old son Rory while he was studying in Sheffield.
They are part of the #ForThe100 campaign set up by bereaved parents to call for the introduction of a legal duty of care over students in higher education.

On Tuesday afternoon (April 24) Mr and Mrs Shanahan travelled to Westminster to meet with MPs.
It is estimated that around 100 students die by suicide each year.
A petition has been set up in support of the #ForThe100 campaign that has currently been signed by more than 128,000.
The government has previously hit back saying that there is already a ‘good deal of support’ available to students at university.
