A shoplifter broke the glass doors of a supermarket to make his escape after he was spotted stealing from one of the aisles.
The man was approached by staff at the Iceland store in Market Place, Didcot, after he was spotted stealing yesterday morning.
When he was confronted, the man assaulted two members of staff before smashing the glass pain off the automatic front entrance doors to make his get-away.

He reportedly did not steal any stock, although the store was forced to close afterwards while the clean-up was dealt with.
Thames Valley Police said an investigation into the incident was ongoing.
A spokeswoman said: “Thames Valley Police was called to report of shoplifting in Market Place, Didcot at around 9.40am yesterday.
“It was reported that a man was seen to be shoplifting in the Iceland store, he assaulted two members of staff who confronted him, damaged the glass door and made off.
“An investigation is ongoing.”
