Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service has warned motorists to be more considerate when parking their cars.
At Slade Park Fire Station in Oxford, a van was found blocking the exit of the fire station.
In a social media post on Facebook, a spokesman for the fire and rescue service said: “Unfortunately this is a regular problem at Slade Park Fire Station.
“Please park considerately and never on a fire station forecourt.
“Seconds can cost lives.”
Previously, the fire service has reported that badly parked cars prevented firefighters from attending to local residents on April 17.
Green Watch from Rewley Road Fire Station were carrying out some important fire prevention work in Oxford city centre and the fire service said it was lucky they were not called to an incident, as the cars were blocking their way.
A spokesman for the fire rescue service said on social media:"Luckily we were not called to an incident down this road as parking like this can cost lives!
"Please be aware of how you park your vehicle especially down tight roads.
"Think to yourself would a fire truck be able to get through this gap?”
