A person has been arrested after police caught a stolen vehicle being driven at 100mph up the M40.
The incident occurred last night (April 19-20) near Banbury.
The Peugeot 308 GTI was stolen from Newbury by way of a keyless theft.

Thames Valley Police located the vehicle travelling up the A34 into Oxfordshire on different number plates.
Units from the ARV, #OXONRPBshift and roads policing tasking team then boxed the vehicle in as it drove up the motorway at speed.
The car was bought to an abrupt halt after a slight bit of contact with an unmarked police car.
The doors to the car were locked and police gained entry by putting the window through.
There has been a recent spate of keyless car thefts in Oxfordshire in recent weeks.
A keyless car theft does not involve a regular key, but instead thieves use a wireless technology that allows them to unlock and start the car without touching the key fob.
A BMW, Ford Mustang and Mercedes were taken by thieves during the night of April 16 to April 17 in Kennington, south of Oxford.
Police are appealing for witnesses to these thefts and are asking residents to review CCTV, Dashcam and doorbell footage in the Poplar Grove, Simpsons Way and Bagley Wood Road areas.
