Organisers of this year's Oxford Pride, the city's gay and lesbian festival, have announced a change of route for the event's first parade.
The parade will now start at the Market Square in the Oxford Castle complex, at midday on Saturday, July 12.
It had been planned to start the procession in Broad Street, but the change was announced due to construction work in the city centre.
The parade will go from Oxford Castle on to New Road, into Paradise Street, before turning in to St Thomas Street and Oxpens Road.
It concludes at Oxpens Field, where the main event will be held, with entertainment continuing until 8pm.
