An elderly driver has been caught going down the wrong way on the M40 motorway.
The motorist was spotted driving down the slip road and has since failed an eyesight test.
Police said the motorist was driving towards oncoming traffic in lane two near the Handy Cross junction in High Wycombe before pulling over onto the hard shoulder.

A crew from Thames Valley Police (TVP) attended the incident on Saturday morning (April 15) and the vehicle was recovered from the motorway.
The driver has surrendered his driving licence.
A TVP spokesperson said: "An elderly motorist was spotted driving down the off slip at M40 Handycross on a busy Saturday morning, driving in lane two before pulling over onto the hard shoulder.
"Our crew from the TVP South Buckinghamshire base at Amersham attended the incident and the driver has failed an eyesight test and surrendered his driving licence."
It will bring back harrowing memories of a triple death on the M40 in October 2018 when a car towing a caravan travelled four miles crashed into an oncoming car.
