Homes in Oxford don’t come cheap but there is a home for sale that is well under the market value.
Zoopla Research have listed the cheapest postcodes in the city which are accurate as of October 2022.
The researchers outlined the most affordable postcodes, breaking them down by the median asking price for each.
The data reveals that the OX4 area, which covers Cowley and Sandford-on-Thames, is the cheapest area to live with properties around £402,600 asking price.
A home that is not shared ownership or age restricted is currently for sale that is priced well below that figure.
Could this be the cheapest home for sale in Oxford?
A ground-floor two-bed maisonette with parking on Three Corners Road, Garsington, Oxford OX4 is currently for sale for £175,000.
It has one bathroom and a reception room.
The price, which has been reduced, may reflect the fact that it has a short lease with 66 years remaining.
Ground rent is £50 a year and there is no onward chain.
Agents Connells say the accomodation is a good size and consists of a living room, two bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and storage cupboard.
Situated on Greater Leys, "it is in a quiet residential area with parking".
It says the property would be a good rental investment with an expected monthly rent of £1,200.
