Bus services in Oxford are experiencing delays due to traffic congestion.
The Oxford Bus Company has reported that “traffic congestion in and out of Oxford on the Abingdon Road” has affected their services.

They warned customers via Twitter that “some delays” were likely along the road and apologised for any inconvenience caused.

Reports of delays to bus services comes on the second day of the Botley Road closure, which will last six months from April 11.
Buses are having to drop off passengers at Osney Bridge and now have to turn around in the area once occupied by the Oxford Youth Hostel Association building, just off Botley Road.

The bus services affected by the bridge closure include city3B, city4A, connector 33, BROOKESBUS400/U1 and Thames Travel 63/63S.
