Officers have released a CCTV picture of two men they want to speak to in connection with the alleged sexual assault.
Thames Valley Police said the two victims - a girl in her late teens and a young woman - were in Bonn Square News, New Inn Hall Street, on the evening of March 24 when they were approached by two men.
The men were said to have 'grabbed them inappropriately' and made 'inappropriate' remarks to the women.
The alleged assault took place between 6pm and 9.30pm on March 24.
In an appeal for information, PC Daniel Squires of Cowley police station, said: “We are releasing this CCTV image as we believe the two individuals pictured may have information about the incident.
“If you recognise them, or if you are pictured, please get in touch."
The men in the image both appear to have black hair. One is more stockily built and is wearing a sand-coloured overshirt and blue jeans. His companion is wearing a white t-shirt and a white-and-blue raincoat, and carrying a green plastic shopping bag.
PC Squires said: “You can make a report online or by calling 101, quoting reference 43230136501.
“Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via its website.”
