Burglars got away with cash and alcohol worth more than £1,000 after smashing their way into a Co-op just weeks after it was ram-raided by thieves.
A window at Woodcote Co-op was boarded up on Saturday morning, with signs outside the front doors saying the store would be shut until further notice.
Thames Valley Police today (Sunday,April 9) confirmed that the force received reports of a burglary at the store at around 5.20am yesterday, Saturday, April 8.
“Entry was forced to the premises and money and goods were taken. An investigation is ongoing,” a spokeswoman said.
The combined value of the alcohol and cash taken is understood to be over £1,000.

The break-in comes five and a half weeks after shop was ram-raided by a burglar who used a Citroen Berlingo-like car to smash through the windows in the early hours of March 1. The man made off with alcohol and the cash drawer from the till.
