Bicester's mayor is to be flown in both a motor glider and an unpowered glider so she can see the town from above.
Councillor Pauline Liddington will be flown over the town by members of Windrushers Gliding Club, which has been operating from Bicester Airfield.
Mrs Liddington will visit the well-preserved Second World War airfield on Saturday, June 28, from 10.30am.
