A man died after being knocked down by a bin lorry near his home, a coroner’s court heard.
Entrepreneur Martyn Stringer, 54, from Preston Crowmarsh, was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford after he was struck by the refuse truck on the A4074 near Benson shortly after midday on March 27.

Mr Stringer died in hospital two days later, senior coroner Darren Salter said as he opened the man’s inquest on Wednesday (April 5).
His cause of death was given in court as multiple organ failure due to ‘trauma’.
A full inquest will take place on August 10.

Last month, crash investigator Sgt James Sturman said: “Officers are continuing to investigate this incident and we would appeal to anyone who may have dash-cam footage from the area around the time of the collision to please get in touch.”
