A sinkhole has appeared on an Oxfordshire road and has been branded as "clearly unsafe".
The sinkhole on Manor Road in South Hinksey was first reported in a parish council meeting on Monday (April 3).
Councillor Emily Smith urged motorists, cyclists and pedestrians to take care whilst travelling in the area.

She said: "This part of South Hinksey regularly floods and parts of the village were underwater last Friday night.
"I’m aware of sinkholes in the area in the past but I have never come across one this big.
"The heavy rain last night once again highlighted the limits of Thames Water's ageing infrastructure around my ward and I suspect the heavy rain was the reason for the sinkhole appearing.
"Parish councillors mentioned a dip in the road on Monday night during the parish council meeting, and it seems that on Tuesday the road surface just collapsed into the hole beneath.
"Clearly it is not safe to drive along Manor Road and I would urge cyclists and pedestrians to take care until Highways have made it safe.”
She reported the issue on fixmystreet.com but today received an update on her report saying: "This report has been closed.
"However the issue has been passed to the relevant team for consideration for future programmed works."
The Oxford Mail has contacted Oxfordshire County Council for a comment on the issue.
