Two people were taken to hospital early today after a taxi crashed into a lamp-post in the centre of Oxford.
The accident happened shortly after midnight when the taxi crashed outside the Duke of York pub in Thames Street.
Two people trapped in the vehicle were freed by firefighters and taken to hospital by paramedics. The extent of their injuries is not yet known.
