Blenheim Palace Dog Walk
Blenheim Palace near Woodstock is home to some stunning scenery and over 2,000 acres of parkland.
It is the only non-Royal palace in the UK.
Walks at Blenheim Palace can range from a 0.75 circular route to a 4.6 mile walk around the country house’s perimeter.

The Queen Pool Walm will take you from the main gates to the Woodstock gates.
It is 1.5 miles and takes around 45 minutes to complete.
You will cross the historic Vanbrugh’s Grand Bridge that was originally built in the early 1700s.
Seacourt Nature Reserve
Located between retail and business parks, Seacourt Nature Reserve is Botley’s hidden gem.
This walk can also be done as a scenic walk into the city centre.
The nature reserve is also often filled with a range of wildflowers such as meadow buttercups, yellow rattle and red clover.
University Parks
Enjoy 70 acres of beautiful parkland right in the centre of Oxford.
On a sunny day, bring a picnic and there is also plenty of space for sports games.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome in University Parks and there are several options for different walking routes.
There is a riverside walk where you can enjoy a picturesque walk along the River Cherwell or the North Route where you can see a number of trees that were planted in the 1880s.
Waddesdon Manor
Dogs have been allowed in the grounds of Waddesdon Manor since November 2017.
The country house is located 40 minutes from the centre of Oxford.
It is a house built in the style of a French chateau by Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild in 1874.
From the gardens, you and your dog can enjoy sweeping views of Oxfordshire and the Chiltern Hills.

There are a selection of walks including the Wellie Walk, lasting 30 minutes, the Winter Garden Walk lasting 25 minutes or Baron’s Walk, lasting 30 minutes.
There are also lots of dining options to grab a drink or a bite to eat after your walk.
Wittenham Clumps
Walks at Wittenham Clumps provide a stunning view of the surrounding countryside.
You will come across grazing cattle, red kites and plenty of wildflowers.
The Clumps are made up of Round Hill (to the left when facing the hills from the car park) and Castle Hill (to the right).
