A van driver was rescued by firefighters after he became trapped in a flood in an Oxfordshire village.
The incident occurred in West Hanney, near Wantage, on the road towards Denchworth at around 8.30 this morning (April 1).
Firefighters from Abingdon Fire Station were called to the emergency and rescued the van driver in a canoe.

The lane in West Hanney is currently completely flooded due to heavy rainfall in recent days.
Local resident and photographer Ben Millar witnessed the incident.
He explained that the driver had entered the flood and subsequently become stuck.
Mr Millar said: “The flooding is the worst that it has been in 10 years.”
The driver is reported to not have suffered any injuries in the incident.
