There have been further calls for people to pay their respects to five soldiers whose bodies are being brought back to Britain tomorrow.
The bodies of five members of The Parachute Regiment killed in the past week in Afghanistan will be given a police escort from RAF Lyneham in Wiltshire to the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford. People are planning to line the route in Marsh Lane and Headley Way from 5pm.
Royal Marines director Brigadier Mark Noble, who attended the funeral of Oxfordshire marine Dale Gostick on Friday, said: "It would be a wonderful and very fitting gesture."
