An environmental crime unit is seeking answers after household rubbish was discovered dumped in a South Oxfordshire town.
South Oxfordshire District Council’s Envirocrime Team found a pile of cardboard boxes, coat hangers, and plastic bottles discarded in Lydalls Close Didcot.
The rubbish pile also included shoe boxes from designer brands Louis Vuitton and Gucci.

The Envirocrime Team has encouraged anyone who knows the person responsible to get in touch.
Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs figures revealed there were 805 fly-tipping incidents in the district in the year to March 2022.
A significant amount of fly-tipping in the area last year was discovered on highways and on footpaths and bridleways.
Of the discarded waste, the largest proportion was household waste followed by household black bin bags.
The data also shows £2,600 was paid by councils on removing large incidents of fly-tipping in South Oxfordshire.
