Thames Water has apologised to motorists for repair works which will continue to cause disruption for the rest of the week.
Motorists experienced delays this morning on the B480 Oxford Road northbound and Hollow Way southbound due to the use of temporary traffic lights at the junction with Clive Road.
Thames Water have clarified that routine work is being carried out to repair a valve and is likely to be completed by Friday, March 31, at the earliest.

A Thames Water spokesman said: “Two-way traffic lights are in place on Oxford Road, near the junction of Clive Road, whilst our engineers carry out a routine repair to a valve.
“The repair is part of planned maintenance work which we aim to complete by Friday 31 March. We would like to apologise to local residents and motorists for any inconvenience caused during this time.”
