Around 100 adults and kids cycled through Oxford in an event supported by a local cycling group to highlight the need for safer streets for children.
The event, called ‘kidical mass’, was supported by Cyclox, a group who campaign for safer cycling in Oxford.

Councillor Emily Kerr, present at the ride, which took place today (March 26), said: “Lots of people turned up despite the rain.
"It was great to see so many people out on a ride to highlight how desperately we need safer streets for kids.
“Three separate marshalled rides joined up from different parts of the city so kids could cycle safely around the centre and see Oxford by bike.
“It was a really fun ride, and both car and bus drivers were courteous and patient while driving behind the ride for a short period.”
