Burglars broke in to two new homes in Carterton and Witney and stole a fitted kitchen and two cookers.
Between 4.30pm on Friday, June 6, and 6am on Monday, June 9, burglars forced their way into a property in Ashcombe Crescent, Witney and stole the fitted kitchen.
Details were only released today.
At the same time, a property in Swinbrook Road, Carterton, was also targeted and two cookers stolen.
Det Sgt Craig Kirby said: "This burgling of new-build properties is a new problem in our district.
"We will be working with building firms and contractors to make sure their sites are left secure over weekends.
"These thieves would have needed a large vehicle to move the stolen property, so if anyone saw a suspicious vehicle in the area, please get in touch."
Anyone with information is asked to call Det Sgt Kirby on 08458 505505 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
