Two men robbed a cyclist in Oxford High Street and stole his mountain bike and cash.
Police today appealed for witnesses following the robbery on Tuesday at 1.45am.
The victim was on his way back from the city centre, pushing his bicycle along the road, when he was pushed over outside Magdalen College.
The robbers stole the man's silver/grey Daws Colorado mountain bike and cash. They were last seen heading in the direction of Cowley.
Det Con Iain Spencer, of Oxford Police, said: "It is thought that there could have been two offenders. One of the men is white, aged in his late 20s, around 5ft 10in, with a mop of dark hair.
"Just before the robbery took place there was someone jogging on the opposite side of the road and two others passed by.
"These people could have key information to help me with my investigation and I urge them to contact police."
Anyone with any information about the incident should contact Dc Spencer on 08458 505505 or the Crimestoppers line on 0800 555111.
