A school in Banbury has partially closed due to the freezing weather as snow is falling heavily in the north of the county.
Hardwick Primary School is closed today for all pupils in Reception, Year 2 and Year 4.
The rest of the school remains open.
A Met Office yellow warning for snow and ice for Oxfordshire was in place until 10am but this has been extended until 12 noon.
It means areas of mainly light snow, combined with icy patches, may cause some disruption to travel.
There may be some icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths.
Meanwhile snow is bringing treacherous conditions to the north of the UK and Midlands causing travel disruption and school closures.
