Clare Balding will host the BBC’s television coverage of Wimbledon this summer as she takes over from Sue Barker.
It follows the previous host’s decision to step down from her role at the end of last year’s tournament after 30 years of broadcasting for the BBC.
Clare has worked on Wimbledon as a reporter, commentator and presenter for BBC radio and television since 1995.
The award-winning presenter has also worked on other major sporting events besides tennis for the BBC including seven Olympic Games.
Throughout our history, we've had the privilege of witnessing so many inspirational female figures 💜 💚
