A car flipped onto its side in a collision on a snowy country road this morning (March 9).
The incident occurred in Edgehill close to the Oxfordshire and south Warwickshire border.
The driver was not injured but had to be assisted out of the vehicle by fire crews.
Fire officers from Banbury Fire Station attended the incident alongside colleagues from Warwickshire Fire and Rescue.
They used specialist equipment to stabilise and gain access to the car.
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue warned on their Facebook page: "The winter road conditions require extra care when driving around.
“Please drive to arrive.
“It's better to be a few minutes late than to not arrive at your destination at all.”
The Oxford Mail contacted Warwickshire County Council for a comment on the incident.
A Warwickshire County Council spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 8.18am on 9 March 2023 to reports of a road traffic collision, later confirmed as a road accident, along Edge Hill Lane in Edgehill, Oxfordshire.
"One crew from Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene as well as crew from Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service.
"On arrival they found a person trapped in a small vehicle on its side. Crews worked to release the person from the vehicle, who was then handed over to ambulance personnel.
"Police were informed, and Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service were at the scene for approximately 30 minutes."
