Oxfordshire woke up to a blanket of snow after a yellow weather warning had been issued.
The Met Office warning has been issued until 7am on Thursday (March 9), with more snow possible and ice expected to form as temperatures remain low.
Despite the snowfall, the roads have remained relatively unaffected as the snow begins to melt, although motorists are still being warned to drive carefully.
The Met Office warning says: "Spells of snow and icy patches may cause travel disruption during Wednesday into Thursday morning.
Pictures show how the snow has settled in some areas, as well as, children enjoying the snowfall with a number of mini snowmen being built.
