It relates the story of the partly divine, partly human King Gilgamesh, who may have existed around 2800 BC.

In the story Gilgamesh experiences a grand transformation from an immature youth to someone that is able to accept the power and reality of death.

The Epic of Gilgamesh is the oldest written literary text in Western cultural history and is said to be an influence on the Iliad and Odyssey.

Max Bruch’s ‘Scottish Fantasy’ that will be performed by Ms Abrami is a lively and lyrical piece for violin.

It pays homage to Scottish tradition and is set to demonstrate the musical talent of the rising star.

Ms Abrami was born in 1996 in Aix-en-Provence, France.
