NAILA ALWI-ABUBAKER, 47, of Roman Road, Wheatley, pleaded guilty to possession of an offensive weapon – a screwdriver – in Cowley Road, Oxford, damaging a VW Polo and glass window in East Avenue, and assault on a police officer. Alwi-Abubaker received 22 weeks’ imprisonment suspended for 18 months, with a drug rehabilitation requirement and an order to pay £50 in compensation.
JAMES O’DOWD, 43, of Breaks Road, Hatfield, admitted driving a BMW 318 on Woodstock Road, Oxford, last August while over the benzoylecgonine limit, without insurance and without a valid licence. He was fined £240 and banned from driving for a year. He must pay £85 in costs and a £96 victim surcharge.
MICHAEL HILTON, 52, of Woodpecker Green, Oxford, pleaded guilty to drug driving a Peugeot 5008 on Woodpecker Green last August. Tests showed he was over the limit for cannabis. The bench fined him £120, banned him from the roads for a year and ordered he pay £85 in costs.
ALEXANDER WARD, 21, of Mallett Close, March, Cambridgeshire, admitted driving a Ford Fiesta in Mixbury last August while over the drug-drive limit for ketamine. He was fined £350, banned from driving for a three years and ordered to pay £225 in costs and surcharge.
ROGER SEVIER, 38, of Blenheim Gardens, Grove, admitted drug driving a ‘drop side lorry’ on the A4130 in Rowstock. Tests showed he was over the limit for benzoylecgonine. Sevier was fined £400, banned from driving for a year and ordered to pay £245 in costs and surcharge.
LOUISE FIELDING, 56, of Parkers Circus, Chipping Norton, pleaded guilty to drink driving a Suzuki Alto in Churchill last June and driving it without a valid licence or insurance. Tests showed she had 109mlgs of alcohol in 100ml of blood; the legal limit is 80mlgs. She was fined £692, banned from driving for three years and ordered to pay £154 in costs and surcharge.
CHERYL JAMES, 52, of Rymill Road, Banbury, pleaded guilty to possession of heroin and crack cocaine in Banbury. Both drugs are class A. She was fined £240.
STEPHANIE GILHAM, 38, of Grafton Road, Bicester, admitted drink driving a Honda Civic on the A41 in Bicester last July. A urine test showed that she was more than one and a half times the drink drive limit. She was fined £344, banned from the roads for a year and must pay £85 in costs and a victim surcharge £138.
LOMIG ROUDAUT, 23, Dene Road, Oxford, admitted drink driving a Voi e-scooter in St Clements on December 8 last year. Tests showed Roudaut was twice the drink-drive limit, blowing 72mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The magistrates imposed a £120 fine, 18 month roads ban and ordered the defendant pay £133 in costs and surcharge.
JOHN BENTLEY, 46, of Heyford Road, Steeple Aston, admitted drink driving a silver Aston Martin Vantage on Station Road, Lower Heyford, on December 7. Tests showed that he had 78mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath, the legal limit being 35mcgs. He was fined £1,500, banned from driving for a year and a half and ordered to pay £685 in costs and surcharge.
MELISSA INKERSOLE, 26, of Buckland Mews, Abingdon, pleaded guilty to possession of a kitchen knife in Abbey Meadows on December 9 last year without ‘good reason or lawful authority’. She was fined £300, must complete up to 15 rehabilitation activity requirement days with the probation service as part of a 12 month community order and was ordered to pay £199 in costs and surcharge.
