A shocking picture shows a bike crushed under a bus wheel after a cyclist was involved in a collision with a bus.
The accident happened outside the Crown and Thistle pub in Wood Farm in Headington 50 metres from Wood Farm School on Thursday (March 2).
St Mary's councillor Emily Kerr tweeted: "Cyclist under a bus this morning in Headingon. This picture made me cry. No more details yet."
Referring to Oxfordshire County Council's Vision Zero - its ambition to eliminate all road deaths and serious injuries by 2050, she added: "We urgently need everyone to act on vision zero.
"This corner is blighted by double yellow lines parking at school pick up / drop-off time. We need school streets.
"I desperately hope the cyclist is OK."
Emergency services and the county council have been contacted for comment.
