Police described a crash which closed off Oxford High Street as "minor".
Oxford High Street was shut around 2pm on Friday after an accident.
Commenting at 2.40pm, a spokesman for Thames Valley Police said: "It was a minor injury, damage collision only and we have now left the scene."
The AA confirmed that traffic was moving slowly in both directions from Longwall Street to King Edward Street at the time of the crash.

Traffic was also slow-moving on St Aldate's and St Clement's Street at the time.
This required Oxford Bus Company to divert some of its routes temporarily.
A statement from the company thanked customers for their patience after services were diverted via Abingdon Road, Donnington Bridge and Iffley.
