Police are "extremely concerned" for the welfare of a missing man who officers believe may be in the Oxfordshire area.
George Houghton was last seen at about 7.30am on Wednesday at his home in Trimley St Martin in Suffolk.
The 85-year-old left the village in his car - a gold Renault Scenic - with the intention to visit Wantage.
Officers believe that Mr Houghton was involved in a crash near junction three of the M4 the Hounslow area of west London on Tuesday, during which his vehicle sustained front-end damage.

Mr Houghton is described as white, 5ft 10in tall, of medium build, and with short grey hair. He was last seen wearing sports trousers, a fleece top and waterproof jacket.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said officers are "extremely concerned" for Mr Houghton's welfare.
A statement from Thames Valley Police added: "Have you seen George?
