An inquest into the death of a human rights activist who died in a crash near Shipton-under-Wychwood is due to conclude tomorrow (March 2).
Alaa Alsiddiq, 33, died when the BMW she was a passenger in collided with a Land Rover Freelander at the junction of the B4437 and the A361 on June 19, 2021.
Ms Alsiddiq was the executive director of human rights’ charity ALQST, a non-profit advocating for human rights in the UAE and wider region.

No foul play was suspected in her death but a report by the Guardian revealed evidence about an intense campaign to survey her.
An examination of her devices by researchers at Citizen Lab at the University of Toronto found she was likely hacked by an Israeli spyware company.
